Биография

Дж. Пипер изучал философию, право и социологию в университетах Берлина и Мюнстера. Работал социологом и фрилансером, профессором философской антропологии в университете Мюнстера (1950—1976). Как профессор-эмерит читал лекции в 1996 г.

Философия

Взгляды Джозефа Пипера основывались на схоластике, представителем которого был Фома Аквинский, и учении, которое создал Платон.
